"We first hired Peak Home Inspections to inspect an older house we were hoping to buy. We knew the house needed some minor repairs but wanted a “professional eye” to assess the home for hidden damage. Owner Dylan Margerum painstakingly inspected every area of the home from the attic fan to the cracked driveway, turning on vents, looking under eaves, climbing on the roof, and checking window seals for leaks and cracks. Within hours of completing his inspection, he provided a detailed, written report of his findings. With his report came peace of mind that the house we were buying was a great find with no hidden damage that could later prove to be costly. Tragically, the day before we were scheduled to close on that house, it burned in a fire that swept through a Colorado Springs neighborhood in June, 2012. Weeks later, we did not hesitate to contact Peak Home Inspections to inspect our new home. Dylan not only accepted the opportunity, but due to our circumstances, refused charge us. His inspection was, once again, professional and thorough with great attention to detail, only to be surpassed by his caring and compassion for our situation. Dylan was great.
He was scheduled to arrive at the house at 9:00 and when i arrived at 8:45 he was already inspecting the outside of the home. He was incredibly knowledgeable and thorough. When he found something he explained what it was and what it meant or could mean. He was friendly and easy to be around too which is always a plus in situations like these. He spent almost 4 hours looking at everything. He had the report to me by the end of the day and it included tips on maintaining the property as well as how to shut things off in case of an emergency, complete with pictures!! I thought that he charged a fair price that was more reasonable than other quotes I received from larger companies. Couldn't be happier.

Dylan was recommended to us by our mortgage broker.
We are buying our first house, a nerve-wracking process that requires putting your trust in people you don't know. Dylan was great - very thorough and patiently answered all our questions. When we later decided to have the pipes scoped, he kindly provided us with recommendations for three different plumbing companies. He was previously a carpenter and was able to give us great advice on what needed to be fixed, or how we could upgrade things. Very reasonably priced. Great experience, highly recommend.

Peak Inspections, owned by Dylan, is who we had do our house inspection.
He showed up a little early and got a lot done before we even got there! He was very efficient, the inspection lasted almost 3 hours which is to be expected, and he was able to teach my husband some things about our new home that will prove to be very useful! He seemed incredibly knowledgeable and we got a lot of good advice from him. They were also VERY reasonably priced compared to some others. Could not have had a better experience! We had our report a few hours later delivered to both our emails.

I shopped around for home inspection costs and Dylan was the cheapest and a recommendation from my realtor. He was EXTREMELY thorough. This is my first time buying a home so I was not exactly sure what the process would look like and what things to be aware of, and he made sure to fill me in on everything. He was very professional, accommodating, and got me my full inspection the day of him doing the inspection.
